A film for your veteran

Honor the one who served

Their real photos, set in the years they served: archival photos and footage from those days, the songs and the news, and a narrator telling their story. About a minute and a half, made to be watched together.

For him or her. Any branch, any war, from World War II to today.

What's in it

Their story, told right

Their photos

The ones you send, from boot camp to the grandkids. Phone pictures of old prints are fine.

The world they served in

Real photos and footage from those years, from the National Archives and the military's own collections.

The years around them

The songs on the radio, the news, what things cost. The details that bring a time back.

A narrator

Their story, read aloud as a letter from the family: where they came from, where they went, who they became.

Two versions

A wide one for the TV and the family party, and a vertical one for phones and Facebook.

From all of you

Memories from the kids and grandkids, woven in. It ends with a message from your family.

We never fake their face

We never AI-generate or animate the person you're honoring. Their photos stay their photos.

We check the record

Every date, unit and place is checked before it goes in. If we can't check it, we ask you or leave it out.

How it works

Three steps

1

Send their photos

About five photos from any time in their life. In uniform, coming home, with the family.

2

Tell us about them

Their branch, where and when they served, the story they always tell, and a memory from each of you.

3

We make their film

Built around their photos and the years they served. You get both versions to play and share.

Pick the narrator

On the order form you choose who reads their story. Listen to both.

A man's voice

Deep and steady.

A woman's voice

Warm and clear.

About

I'm Sean, and I made The Ones Who Served

I grew up in Philadelphia. My dad, Domingo Negron, was born in Puerto Rico, grew up in South Philadelphia, and served in the Vietnam War.

Ask him about Vietnam and watch his face light up. He's been telling me those stories my whole life. Those years shaped who he is today, and the way he carries them shaped me.

My grandfather, John Kane Brown, was a pilot in World War II. He was a prisoner of war.

Every family has someone like them, and most of their stories never get written down. Once they're gone, so are the stories. The Ones Who Served is my way of making sure they get told, while we can still say thank you.

Questions

Good to know

Can the film be for a woman who served?

Yes. Nurses, pilots, WACs and WAVES, Marines, every branch. Tell us her story the same way.

We only have a few photos. Is that enough?

Five is plenty. Phone pictures of old prints work. We fill in the years around them with real archival photos from the time and place they served.

Can we make one for someone who has passed?

Yes. Many families make one for a memorial service or an anniversary. Tell us anything you'd rather we leave out.

Is the narrator a real person?

The narration is an AI voice, reading the letter we write with you. You pick a man's or a woman's voice when you order. The photos of your veteran are always the real ones you send.

Do we pay now?

No. Send their photos and story first. We email you to confirm before we start, and you pay then.
